Alpha Conversion Error

Iam Loading data from R/3 to BW and Iam getting error like ALPHA CONVERSION ERROR>

How to rectify it

I would like to know technically what does that tick stands for i.e. what is its function.

Hi,

This tick would enable the conversion to take place.

There are two Function modules in the background for this conversion exit.

I am not very sure , The naming convention is like exit_conversion_<name>_input exit_conversion_<name>_output.

plz check with conversion routine , just execute the Function module and give some input and find out.

Check that and activate the transfer rules and reload. Hopefully the load should be fine.

Hi Balaji,

Goto the transfer rules and check the "conversion flag" checkbox for the info-object for which you get the alpha conv error. Activate the transfer rules and reload.

Ya,there is a CONVERSION check box in Transfer rule,there v need to check no.
