Allowed characters on S/4 hana Public cloud

Hi All,

How many characters are allowed to enter for 'First Name', 'Last Name' and 'Username' in 'Basic employee import' in S/4 HANA public cloud? Is there any limitations on the number of characters?

If so, then is this limitation is same for IAS as we import users from S/4 systems to IAS and sync users from IAS to S/4 systems? Please advice

Hi bkinchara,

Please see here the number of characters:

• First Name: Maximum of 40 characters
• Last Name: Maximum of 40 characters
• Username: Upper case letters, numbers, '_', '.', and '-' only (maximum of 20 characters)
