Any error that occurs inside Integration Process invokes exception sub process.
Ex If you have message mapping error,connectivity error ( using request reply or send ) with multiple channels,scripts or issue with content modifier. Below blog gives more insight about Exception Subprocess.
I have one more query, Once exception occurs we need to send that to our technical team via mail adapter, But when we asked our client to share the mail server address/details they said that"HCI does not provide SMTP server as part of service". So my question is, how we need to configure the external mail server in HCI ? Or is any other possible solution?
