After upgradin SAP EP from 7.0 to 7.4 Login Page is not working

Hi Team,

We have recently upgraded SAP Dev EP 7.0 to 7.4.

Previously in Portal 7.0 we were using custom authschemes.xml with name authscheme-gic-newlogn and same we maintained in nwa.

After up gradation of EP to 7.4 , that login page was showing portal runtime error and with nwa standard login page was coming.

Later we changed the authscheme file name to authschemes.xml in portal and then it started showing standard login page.

Today our basis team uploaded custom authschemes.xml file from config tool and then in nwa we changed the name of authscheme again back to authscheme-gic-newlogn.xml (custom), and again that same portal runtime error started coming in EP Login Page.

We have reverted changes made from our side config tool and nwa to standard still portal runtime error is coming.

Surrounding the scenario that you have described you mentioned the following:

Ok now based upon the description outlined above could you kindly provide clarification on the following:

• Post configuration changes did you clear the Portal / Browser Cache & Restart the Portal Service?
• Is this issue occurring for each and every user/in all Web Browser Platform types?

Secondly surrounding the upgrade in itself, a jump between NW 7.0 to NW 7.4 is quite a significant leap in terms of versioning therefore there have been a multitude of functional enhancements. Could you kindly try to re-upload the trace screenshots as unfortunately they do not appear on this thread?
