I am facing a probelm with Afaria Installation as shown in attached capture, I already create a database and configure connection with ODBC, Any Help please ??
I think it's something related Sql Anywhere Afaria Log this service is created when i am trying to install AFARIA ) but i can't edit Sql Anywhere Afaria Log 64bits and for 32bit the connection deson't succeed ( see attached capture )afaria.png
The initial error reported is for an OLEDB based connection. Afaria may be using an ODBC Datasource Name (DSN) as a convenience for storing connection options. The ODBC Administrator, which manages DSNs, comes in both 32 bit and 64 bit and can only manage DSNs of the same bitness. If you need to modify a 64 bit DSN, it needs to be done in a 64 bit administer. For User DNSs, it is possible that the DSN is both 32 and 64 bit allowing any bitness Administor to modify the DSN.
If you type ODBC in the Windows search area should show the bitness of the Administrator or you can launch as
%windows%\System32\odbcad32.exe --> 64 Bit administor on 64 bit Windows
%windows%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe --> 32 Bit administor on 64 bit Windows
This problem may be the same as contents of next KBA. Could you confirm this KBA?
