Hi,
I am trying to install Afaria 7.0 SP3 on my VM-Afaria machine (MS Windows 2008 standard R2 SP1).
Running my Afaria setup getting an error in the middle(88%), it is throwing an error as APPCRASH, did any one face this issue?
any clues? I had followed the same approach and installed Afaria 7.0 SP2 successfully a few times, But now I am trying a fresh installation with Afaria 7.0 SP3.
Steps I had followed.
1) Installed MS Sql server 2008 R2 on the same machine for AfariaDB.
2) configure the pre-requisites (VC++Run time,Crystal reports, IIS etc).
3) Add the service account in administrator group and IIS group
4) Run Afaria setup file>>License>> Afaria server getting this error in the middle of the installation.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have managed to fix this issue,
when I check in the event viewer I found the error shows ADO error the user is not authorised,
It occurs due to the MS SQL server configuration protocol TCP/IP is not enabled.
I have enabled the TCP/IP protocol following below steps,
Start>>All Programs>>MS SQL Server 2008 R2>>Configuration Tools>>SQL Server Configuration Manager
Enable the TCP/IP protocol under the following clients
SQL server Network Configuration
SQL Native Client 10.0 configuration (32bit)
I am able to install Afaria client successfully.
