Advantage Database Server - Adding expansion pack licenses on Linux

I've just purchased a 50 license expansion pack for Advantage Database Server .

Our server is on Linux and the instructions are not very clear on how to add those new 50 licenses to my existing 250 in order to have a total of 300.

I have read the help file on the subject (https://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/dz/webhelp/Advantage11/master_performing_simple_advantage_database_server_upgrades_and_expansions.htm?zoom_highlightsub=expansion), I've read the install.txt file found in the application folder on the server and searched the web without success.

Using the adsstamp command, I can manage to replace the existing 250 user license with the new 50 expansion pack and put back my original 250 user license, but the objective was to have a total of 300 users.

My questions :

- What Linux command line should I run to add (and not overwrite) the 50 expansion to my 250 licenses? Please note that we are not upgrading versions, only adding licenses).

- Is there a command line that I can run from the Linux console to verify the installed licenses and keys? (I currently use Advantage Database Architect on windows).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to talk to the sales people: An extension doesn't mean a code for the extension pack only, but for the whole license. You need to get a code for 300 users instead.

Thanks for the answer. It's what our reseller ended up doing and all works fine now.
