We have a requirement to integrate the Business Partner Master Data Fiori app with a third-party address lookup API in the S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition.
Use Case: When a user enters a postal code, a dropdown should be displayed with a list of possible addresses. Upon selecting the relevant address, the associated address fields should be auto populated based on the chosen entry.
Third-Party API Details: The integration will utilize the Addressy API by Loqate, which requires making two API calls:
- The first call retrieves a list of possible Address IDs based on the postal code input and other relevant filters.
- The second call fetches the complete address details using the selected Address ID.
Could you please assist in identifying a possible solution for integrating this address lookup functionality with the S/4HANA Public Cloud environment?
