Adding Versions to Analytic Model in New Model Type

Hi Community,

I am using a Model based on the "New Model" type in SAC. Once the planning capabilities are disabled the dimension version disappears and no version other than Actual can be used. In the classic account model it is possible to use different versions regardless of using planning or analytic models.

Can someone tell me how to add versions to an analytic model using the "New Model" type?

Hi Lennart, so the final answer is - this will resolved with the planned roadmap item here.

This item is currently planned for 2022.Q2. See the attached screenshot for the same. The specific feature you are asking for can be found under the high-level item "Ability to import data into local dimensions".

Hi Lennart, you did the right thing here.

Based on in-house discussions so far, it is likely that this specific feature is not supported to date with the new model, which is something we will better document and make clear in SAC’s documentation.

I am confirming when this gap is likely to be resolved as part of the planned developments and keep you posted as soon as possible.
