Adding Value Help (additional annotations) to Generated CDS views

Hi Dear SAP Community,

We are currently trying to create a report using the "Manage KPI and Reports" app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

We followed these steps:

1. Generate a custom CDS view using the "Custom CDS View" app.
2. Create a query based on the CDS view in the "Custom Analytical Queries" app.
3. Generate the report using the "Manage KPI and Reports" app.

Everything works fine until one of our customers requested value help for certain fields.

As seen, we don’t have any value help for the Project ID.

Below my demo Custom CDS view just to show what I tried.

Is there any chance of adding value help to this report, or are there possible extension options?

I tried to copy the generated CDS query and add value help there. Obviously, it didn’t work because we are not allowed to use unreleased objects.

I've made some progress on this topic, but I'm still unable to solve it.

My suspicion is that there could be a bug in the 'Manage KPIs and Reports' app.

Basically, the value help is displayed correctly in the 'Custom Analytical Query' app (preview).

but it is not displayed in the 'Manage KPIs and Reports' app (Analytical List Page scenario)."

Project ID is a Project  field from I_EnterpriseProject view.

I would appreciate any help; otherwise, we may need to create the reports from scratch, and I'm not even sure if that's possible in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
