Adding SAP Cloud ALM to "Instances & Subscriptions" in SAP BTP Cockpit

Dear SAP experts,

I am trying to add SAP Cloud ALM to my instances under "Subscriptions and Instances", but this is not working.

I can only find something about SAP Cloud ALM under "Destinations". When I wanted to list it as an instance under "Subscriptions and Instances", it did not work via the Create function because it could not be found in the list.

I then went to the "Entitlements" tab and tried "Edit --> And Service Plans", but it couldn't be found in the list either.

What can I do to solve the problem? I am using the trial version of SAP Cloud ALM and need it for my bachelor thesis to be able to use SAP Signavio Process Insights.

Many thanks in advance,
Berkay

Hi again,

As per your screenshot you are not in the BTP Global Account for SAP Cloud ALM...

You need to be able to logon there.

Best regards,

Dolores

Hello Berkay,

When your SAP Cloud ALM tenant was provisioned? please see in the SAP Help Portal the information here https://help.sap.com/docs/cloud-alm/setup-administration/enabling-sap-cloud-alm-api

Are you in the BTP Cockpit in the SAP Cloud ALM account, SAP Cloud ALM subaccount, correct?

Best regards,

Dolores

Unfortunately, the answer didn't really help me.

I have the SAP Cloud ALM here under my "Destinations".
How can I bring these into the instances?

Hi, Berkay_Ö,
As Dolores was suggesting, you are NOT in the right BTP global account.  You need to switch to other global account for Global/Subaccount of Cloud ALM.  I am attaching a screen from a Globa Account for SAP Cloud ALM:

and here is subaccount for Cloud ALM and I have highlighted the icon for Services > Instances and Subscriptions:

Subscriptions showing SAP Cloud ALM:

and the SAP Cloud ALM API instance for the service key/binding:

I hope this is helpful.
