Adding New Field and Value Help to Standard Fiori Application

Hello,
I am trying to add a new field with a value help to the standard fiori application F2358 'Monitor Purchase Order Items'.

The odata service is created with segw (sadl) and i could identify the cds-view i need to extend (C_PurchaseOrderItemMoni)

I simply created a CDS-View Extension to add the field to the service.
As far as i knew i could not use the standard application "Custom Fields and Logic" , because you cannot add fields which are filled, only new "empty" fields?

This worked fine and i could already use the new field within the app.

And the new field was visible in the odata service

Now i needed to add a Value Help for the new field, therefore i added a value help to the cds-view extensions and created a custom value help.

But the value help is not working 

Is it even possible to add a value help to a standard fiori app?
