Hello,
in an existing Import-Model (Classic-Account-Model), I have a Dimension called "Company Code" and now, I would like to add a Public Dimension, that adds further Information to this Company Code (eg name of the organisation, currency...).
But when I add this Public Dimension, there is no mapping, and the field of the added PD remains empty, until I want to save and have to fill them with "#".
Is it possible to add a Public Dimension to an existing Model and map it to an existing dimension? Does it only work while creating the Model? Are there diferences between the Classic Account Model and the New Model in this regard?
Thank you for your help!
Kind regards,
Eric

eric2357Irrespective of the model type classic or measure based, if you insert a new dimension to an existing model with data, you only get an option to set the value for existing data in a model to a fixed value of the new dimension ( it can be # or any other fixed member). The system cannot auto map the correct values for the new dimension. Assigning correct values for this new dimension to existing data has to be done manually either by Data Action or downloading the data, populating the new column and loading the data back and cleaning the old data.
