Adapt Fiori My inbox app and replace TASKPROCESSING oData with custom oData.

Hi,
We need to replace standard oData service of Fiori My Inbox application. In BAS, we created one adaption project and we want to replace standard TASKPROCESSING oData with our custom oData. 
Could you please suggest how can we achieve that. We tried below procedure but it didn't work somehow. Is there anyway we can directly replace oData in manifest.appdescr_variant file ?
