Access to new pricing tiles in Subscription Billing

Hello Everyone,

In the scope of an initiative we are trying to access the new pricing tiles that have been added to subscription billing (cfr. Screenshot1). However we all keep falling onto the same error page (cfr. Screenshot 2) when trying to access the mentioned tiles/apps inside subscription billing.

I have tried to find the missing user role to add to my user collection but when adding all the roles, I still wasn't able to access the mentioned tiles.

I'm starting to think there may be an issue somewhere else? In the error message it mentions that I cannot access the app with my current tenant. (to be clear, I'm able to access the rest of subscription billing with the sole exception of those tiles).

I have gone through all the roles available in my subscription billing instance on the BTP and all roles have been assigned to my user collection.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm suspecting that my subscription billing instance on BTP hasn't updated the list of possible roles (cfr. screenshot 3) and that I'm thus unable to add them to my user role collection on BTP, is there a way to update this list ?

Any lead to the causing issue would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Tanguy Jongen

Hi Tanguy,

on first glance, it seems that scopes for Price Calculation apps are missing.
The visibility of the tiles depends on the rate plan template and product scopes of Subscription Billing, whereas the access to the apps is controlled by the scopes of Price Calculation service.
Please check out the Subscription Billing Setup and Administration Guide and Price Calculation Setup and Administration Guide.
In a nutshell, the role templates Pricing_Specialist and Configuration_Expert have to be added to your user roles.

Best regards,
Carsten

Hi Carsten,

Sorry I missed your reply yesterday, I really appreciate you providing a response so quickly.

Unfortunately, I already have assigned all the user roles, mentioned in the documentations you shared, to my current user role collection in BTP and it is still not granting me access.

You think that the issue has to be related to user permissions based on the error message?

Hi Tanguy,

if you've already configured all the scopes of price calculation:

then there might be a problem with the onboarding process.
I would recommend to contact customer support (should be available on the UI).
Best
