Access detail story from main story

Hi team,

we have created main (parent) story and detail (child) story. Detail story is setup to be opened from main story through External URL option. Both main and detail stories are in same folder. Now my requirement is user should not be able to open detail story independently. He should be able to open it from parent story only. Can this be achieved?

I think technically this would not be possible. Even if you keep the child stories in a different folder, Once the user knows the folder, they can always navigate to it through file system browse.

Thank you William. How about If I place detail story in a seperate folder and make the folder not visible to the user? Generally users simply open any story they see. So this way there is a chance they will open detail story seperately. I want them to open detail story from main story only. 

or is there any other way you think this can be achieved?
