what is the use and difference b/w The Edit Form ,Render list Form and Show Form Explai with EXAMPLE
hi,
<b>Edit Form:</b>it is for authoring like creating News
<b>Render list Form</b>:It is for Publishing the News
<b>Show Form</b>:It is for see the whole content of the News
In XML Form Builder, by default when you create a new form these forms ie. Edit Form (You will design the Form here, only authorised person or the owner only view this).
The Second Form(Render List Item) is the one will be shown to everyone with brief information
The Third Form(Show Form) is the one when you click on the News page, it will show you one more screen, there you can see the detailed description about the News

Hi,
To explain this, suppose u are creating a news item and u want to display the title of the news item, author & date to viewers. U use a renderlist item for this. This is for displaying the various news items. Now the description of the news item is in the show form. For this the title that is displayed in the renderlist item should be a link that links to the Show form so that when the viewers click on the title in the renderlistform the show form is opened. To achieve this in the Title property(in the renderlistform) there is a property called Hyperlink.. set it to Dislay. Then the title in the renderlistform will display the show form when the title is clicked.
To sum up the show form has the description for each news item.
The edit form is for creating and editing news items. The other two forms are for display.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Pooja.

Hi Govindu,
also have a look at the SAP Help documentation where the different forms are described in detail: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/42/f6733c20e73247e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
Hope this helps,
Robert
