About note 2934760- Reconcile GR/IR Accounts

Hi All,

We want to use the GR Recon app in Fiori but are getting an error which suggests switch MRM_SFWS_JFMIP_01 needs to be activated. I am looking at this note but have some doubts.

1. When I enter the switch in SFW2, I see its says 'US Federal Enhancements'. Is it not applicable for other country ? I want to use it for UK.

2. What are the implications ? e.g From risks perspective, which all other things will activate ?

I am required to do an analysis to ascertain that switching on this object will not break the system. Please advise suitably.

You may ask SAP support. Maybe it's either a bad technical text, or it has no importance.

Both documentations don't indicate anything specific to US:

Generally speaking, you'd better activate a Business Function/Switch on a sandbox in case it's not what you expect (reinstall the sandbox if it can't be deactivated by software).

Hi Sandra,

I have to rely on technical team who sits in US. They think the app cannot be used for UK, since its says US. Refusing to enable SFW2. Also they are reluctant to go to SAP fearing their question will be rejected as consulting issue!!

Have you got a sandbox? Is the switch enabled to switch it off if you don't need it?

As far as I know once SFW2 is used to switch on, it cannot be turned off.
