Hi Experts,
I am trying to refresh ECC5 dual stack system (release 640). I just want to know how can i identify that this dual stack system have ABAP stack and then install java stack or ABAP stack with java add-inns.
In the installation master I am seeing option under system copy

Hi Gopal,
Regarding whether your system is an ABAP + JAVA or ABAP +Java Addins(dual stack) please see the following
documents:

Hi Aidan,
I have already gone through all these documents. And i am aware that now DS is not supported. I ahve a old release 640 and want to refresh sand box from Prod as a part of my upgradation from ECC5 to EHP7 ECC6.
That's why i want to know if this is a ABAP+ JAVA or ABAP + JAva add-ins . So i can use the relevant option from SAPINST version 642.

Ram
Hi Ram,
- Java Add-in for ABAP(if there are ABAP instances in the profile directory)
ABAP (DVEBMGS??), only JC00 profiles for java standalone: /usr/sap/SID/SYS/profile/
Please ensure you are using the guide mentioned in SAP note
971645 - 6.40 Patch Collection Hom./Het.System Copy Java

Aidan
Hi Ram,
You export each stack independently but you target the same export
directory each time.
You should not choose to just export one stack, you
must export both but just independently of each other.
Kind Regards,
Aidan
