ABAP code or scripting in CI-DS where source and target both are IBP

Can we write ABAP code or any other script instead of complex transforms in SAP CI-DS, when both source and target are IBP? I know that we have ABAP query and Custom ABAP transforms when the source in ABAP, which makes complex logic handling easier. Is there anything similar that can be done for IBP to IBP tasks?

If source is IBP table(s), i'm afraid there is no ABAP code or script can be used. If source is IBP related ODP/Extractors like /IBP/ORDER_KF, then ABAP query can be used.

So if I have to achieve complex logic in IBP source-target scenario, I have to rely only on the transforms and the functions? I know that there are options to write post and pre-load scripts. Is there anything similar that will be called at each iteration of records, instead of only at the beginning and end?

Hello Aprana, the approach of the extraction scenarios is to perform the transformations in target system or staging layer. adding logic to the provided services will run into performance issues.
