Hello,
I have a OData V2 UI service which is published and working in the Dev S4HANA system.
After transport to the Q system the service is "Unpublished" but I can't publish as the client is closed for modification.
Is this correct? Should I be trying to publish directly in the target system with Eclipse?
Thanks,
Gregor

Hi Gregor
If you're in an onPremise scenario you need to activate the service using transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and activate the service there and save that change onto a transport request. The publish locally button in ADT only activates the service locally in the dev system. That's why it also states in the unpublished state "Local service endpoint is not pusblished". In order to activate a service and keep it active in the following systems in needs to be activated and transported.
Best regards,
Dominik

Dear All,
In the Public Cloud for OData V4, after moving to the Test Client, the service became unpublished. I tried assigning it to the IAM App, added it to the Business Catalog, and assigned the catalog to the Business Role and then to the user. However, I’m still getting the error: “Test Catalog assignment – system is not in scope.”
Could you please help me with a solution for this issue?
