Hi Friends!
Strange situation here. In our BW 7.5 system, when we activate or import 7.x Transformations, it creates 3.x InfoSource, Update Rule and 3.x DataSource in BW mySelf`. These 3.x objects are not needed; we are able to load data through 7.x Transformations using DTPs after deleting them.
What causes this behavior?
More importantly, how can we suppress or prevent this behavior?Strange situation here. Hello jhawk95337
Did you switched off the obsolete 3.x Functionality in the SPRO Customizing?

Hi Roland
Do you mean Show obsolete Functions of Data Warehousing Workbench - RSCUSTV32?
We still have some 3.x DataSource that we are using, so it would be awkward to make them invisible.
Besides, we want to delete these obsolete, unused 3.x objects. Making them invisible would hinder that effort.
Can we just suppress the creation of 3.x objects automatically by 7.x transfer rule creation or DSO activation?
Thanks,
John Hawk
Hello John
on the one Hand you want to avoid the creation of 3.x objects automatically by 7.x transfer rule creation or DSO activation and on the other side you have still the obsolete Functions active. For me, this looks like you can not have one thing without the other ...
Best Regards Roland
