Hello All,
We are migrating system to SAP BW/4HANA 2.0 and ECC is enabled for ODP extraction and below datasources are not supported for ODP extraction. Please let us know if there is an alternate solution since SAPI extraction not supported in BW4HANA.
1. 4R_FKBER_0000_HIER (Functional area Hierarchy)
2. 4R_PS_POSID_0000_HIER (WBS Element Hierachy)

Hi Manos,
hi Prakash,
could you try the correction in SAP Note 2355655 - Hierarchy DataSource replication for ODP source system ends with CX_ODQ_NOT_SUPPORTED.
I would also recommend to run the check program mentioned in one of the two SAP Notes below dependent of the release level of your source system(s)
- SAP Note 1521883 (ODP Replication API 1.0 ) for SAP_BASIS < 730
- SAP Note 1931427 (ODP Replication API 2.0 ) for SAP Basis >= 730
This will identify all SAP Notes that are still required in your system(s). These two SAP Notes are actually essential when dealing with ODP replication and might help to fix almost any issue your are experiencing.
Let me know if the SAP Note 2355655 fixed the issue with the hierarchy extractors.
Best regards,
Andreas
P.S: Update 31/08/2021: For some generated 4R_* extractors e.g. those that were generated by transaction BW10, there seems to be another SAP Note in addition to 2355655 required: 3006141 - Source 4R_* not found, not released or not authorized (without this, you will not be able to replicate some of the 4R_* data sources.

Thanks lot Andreas,
Great help 🙂
Hi all,
quick update. We just updated the central SAP Note that releases DataSources in the source systems for ODP replication 2232584 and it covers now also the above requested generated 4R_* DataSources for FI-SL hierarchies.
In addition above mentioned SAP Note 2355655 might be still relevant to fix a bug with hierarchy extractors in your source system - depending on your support package.
Thanks for your input Prakash & Manos!
Best regards,
Andreas

Hi,
in a problem handling of another customer experiencing issues with certain 4R_* extractors, I was getting aware that there might be another SAP Note required on source system side. Therefore posting it here for other customers/consultants looking for help in this regard:
3006141 - Source 4R_* not found, not released or not authorized
Best regards,
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
I updated manually the table, but once I execute program RODPS_REPL_TEST , I got this error:
"An exception with the type CX_ODQ_NOT_SUPPORTED occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause" . Regards,
Manos

Thanks for giving lead Andrea and Frederic,
These are generated from BW07 and still I am not sure how to enable them for ODP extraction. Because when I am running BS_ANLY_DS_RELEASE_ODP these datasoruces are not captured.
Please let me know if anyone has experienced similar issue and how to fix.

Prakash K

Hi Prakesh,
do you know how these 4R* datasources were created/generated as they are not SAP delivered standard data sources?
To use the data sources with ODP replication framework, you could add manually an table entry in table ROOSATTR in the source system for this data source and set 'EXPOSED' to 'X'.
After that test the data source against RSA3 e.g. with report RODPS_REPL_TEST and, if the result set looks the same, end-to-end.
Best regards,
Andreas

They seem generated by the BW07 transaction for FI-SL set Hierarchies.
