A lot of my friends (both working in the IT sector or not) think that Q3 is a quiet period with a nice weather, no traffic jam nor public strikes or protest in Paris (we have a reputation to maintain in France, you know that already!!!

The reality for me was slightly different for me

To be precise, it was (again as you may have read my last blog) 10 CodeJam, 8 locations, 5 countries, 4 continents over the last 3 months:

This represent 2 times the circumference of our planet!

Here is the list with locations, topics and associated dates:

But the year is not over yet at least for me as the TechEd is just around the corner and I still have a few CodeJam lined up in October!

Here is my current planning for the rest of the year:

Event Topic Date
SAP CodeJam Nieuwegein SAPUI5 (not for superstitious people) Friday Oct 13, 2017
SAP CodeJam St. Johann in Tirol SAPUI5 Oct 17, 2017

I know I kind of repeat myself here, but sometime a reminder is not so bad.

All our events are published on the Eventbrite platform at the following address:

https://www.eventbrite.com/d/worldwide/sap-codejam/

Everyone is welcome, no prior skills or background is required to attend except curiosity and an interest in the topic (so yes, newbies are very welcome)

Those events are run by a panel of topic experts from around the globe including the SAP Developer Relations team, but also SAP product managers, lead developers and local mentors.

You can also find the list SAP Developer Relations promoted events (not only CodeJam) here:

https://www.sap.com/developer/events.html

If you are interested in hosting a CodeJam, it’s easy as “1-2-3”, and check this blog:

https://blogs.sap.com/2017/03/14/hosting-an-sap-codejam-event/

You have no more excuse now but to attend or organize a CodeJam in your area!

Your call to action:

Soon we will revisit our CodeJam "main" topic list.

So now would be a good time submit your ideas and thoughts!

Now I need to get back to my content preparation activities for SAP TechEd Las Vegas!

See you there!
