"..so, collaboration meets opportunity.."
Alike any other technology event, the journey began by moving the proposal for our product through a promising abstract and vouching the solution capabilities.
In fact, 'Intelligent Product Design' made it through the screening hurdles and eventually landed at one of SAP's largest technology events, that's TechEd.
We now were boosted to showcase our coveted product with all the existing features and extrapolating the upcoming ones.
Interestingly, we landed up into the pod, which was leeward side of the entry passage. Of-course, more than our content, our sales capabilities were challenged.
Our product, convincingly had ‘intelligent’ term within, which naturally helped in building curiosity among the passerby, and thereon we seized every feeble opportunity around.
So, we started improvising our stereotypical narrative according to the industry where our audience belongs to.
“...enables process driven collaboration, involving necessary stakeholders through sharing artifacts, towards R&D space of PLM, bolstering idea to market scenario...”
However, the ‘intelligent’ was still not justified enough, unless we laid down the road-map, unveiling the forthcoming capabilities.
Besides emphasizing on collaborating with participants, process driven with workflow, managing shared documents, we also hinted on versioning, redlining, extensions, APIs, machine learning, integration with EPPM, ECTR, DMS, so on and so forth.
Fortunately, we had a heterogeneous spectrum of industries among the audience, and potentially, our product promises to cater them all, by and large. Initially we keenly listened to our visitors for gaining an experience of their PLM processes. As a consequence, we adapted our demo to propose a value addition in their status quo.
Industries namely,
- Insurance(IRDAI)
- e.g. collaboration to come up with a new insurance scheme for dengue, by on-boarding the field, finance, legal, healthcare, bureaucrats as participants.
- feedback feature - collaboration hierarchy - to connect co-related collaborations
- Medical Devices(Boston Scientific)
- e.g. collaboration to bring next gen landing gears with relevant participants.
- feedback feature - change notifications on the collaboration
- Healthcare(Novartis)
- e.g. collaboration to research on generic drugs, by collaboration with patent office, pharma.
- Manufacturing(Tafe, AMS, Kennametal)
- e.g. collaboration to bring low radiation ultrasound device with relevant participants.
- feedback feature - collaboration with ECTR, versioning, redlining
- Partners(Infosys..), et al.
- e.g. extension possibilities, integration scenarios
- feedback feature - integration with EPPM, machine learning use cases
We requested them to fill up the feedback forms with the entries, like ‘best feature so far’ and ‘areas to improve’ to meet their business needs better.
Unanimously, they showed keen interest for engaging with us into co-innovation, design thinking and similar modalities.
Indeed, the valuable experience could prove to be the stepping stone of a greater transformation ahead for our product.
The response and the curiosity of the audience, propels us to dedicate ourselves to keep
designing our
product intelligently!
