Feature of the month  Regular Expression Entities (Regexp)


Train your chatbots faster with regexp entities! Besides free and restricted entities, you can also create a regular expression (regexp) entity that extracts an entity based on an expression pattern that you provide. By using them, you don’t need to create a strict list of all words nor need to train the entity to be detected by machine learning.

Enhanced Bot Testing – Available for Enterprise Edition users only


New capabilities are now available in Bot Testing to help you improve your bot’s conversation quality even more! Now you can:

  • delete a test document

  • expand or collapse all the test cases with a single click

  • differentiate between detected and non-detected entities

  • and use the already generated test cases of your bot even after forking it

User Info for Amazon Alexa & Microsoft Teams


Enable a better authentication of users and personalized bot replies! If you have integrated your bot with Amazon Alexa or Microsoft Teams, the participant information stored in “participant_data” variable can now be consumed.

Manage your privacy easily by choosing to set your profile and your profile picture as private or public in your settings! You can switch from a public profile to a private one and the other way around whenever you want.


Pre-Defined Helpers to Display Numbers


Improve your bot responses by using pre-defined helpers, that let you format a number with a specific number of digits after the decimal separator.

Reminder: Introduction of OAuth tokens


As announced last month, you can now use OAuth tokens as a new way to authenticate API requests for both new and existing bots. OAuth tokens improve platform security and enhance traceability of modifications by bot developers.
