With the latest release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, exciting new features are available in SAP Central Business Configuration. This blog post will provide you with a comprehensive overview of these new features, with insights into how they can help to streamline your day-to-day operations.
Public sector management involves the management of revenue and expenditure budgets at public institutions, including federal, state, and local authorities. This is particularly relevant for government, nonprofit, and educational organizations that need to comply with funds and budget accounting. Until now, the Public Sector Management scope bundle was only available for selection in SAP Central Business Configuration for the USA and Canada. However, we’re happy to announce that it’s now also available for Germany.
Please note that there have been slight changes to the process flow in the Define Scope app. As for the USA, you continue to select the public sector and add the Public Sector Management bundle to your scope. For Canada and Germany, however, you select the private sector and add the Public Sector Management bundle. This is a transitional state that aims to accommodate existing customers while also preparing for future enhancements to the user experience related to sector selection.
Until now, the Enterprise Management bundle was preselected in evaluation projects. However, we’re excited to announce that this restriction has been lifted, giving you the freedom to select any of the available bundles. This enhancement gives you more flexibility in your evaluation projects, allowing you to tailor them even further to your specific needs.
That wraps up the new features this time. Make sure to follow the SAP Central Business Configuration tag or follow this dedicated blog collection to stay up to date with the latest blog posts.
