We're excited to share the latest news around SAP Asset Performance Management. This blog provides videos on our latest updates, for example, enhancements to the "copy tool" for strategy assessments for classes, providing increased traceability to the original assessment and recommendations, and an easier technical object assignment process in risk and criticality assessments, which is great when handling extensive technical object lists. Both improvements are geared to streamline user experience.

Our recently enhanced copy assessment feature now enables users to easily trace back to the original strategy assessment that was the basis for the copy. The related recommendations of the source assessment are also included in the copy. This enhancement bolsters user understanding and offers clear links back to original data, thereby enhancing decision-making processes, underpinning accountability, and simplifying overall strategy assessment management. Watch the video to see how it's done:
We have improved the assignment process for risk and criticality assessments by introducing a function that filters out technical objects (TOs) already assigned to other ongoing assessments. This enhancement addresses the challenge users faced when selecting large numbers of TOs, especially in risk and criticality assessments where handling extensive lists is common and tedious.
Previously, if any selected TOs were already part of another assessment, the entire selection would be rejected, requiring users to identify and remove conflicting TOs individually. Now, when users attempt to assign TOs, the system validates the selection. If some TOs cannot be assigned due to being already assigned elsewhere, the system notifies the user and presents the option to proceed with assigning only the eligible TOs. This approach streamlines the assignment process and improves usability significantly. Watch the demo to see how it works:
