It is summer time, and we bring some houseworks for your vacations with a new support package (SP) for Focused Insights for SAP Solution Manager 7.2.

SP08 is there and we provide you some enhancements in our already well known dashboards suite. We also concentrate our last 6 months to build an improved, reliable and secure tool.

So, what is new in SP08?

New delivery process for Focused Insights corrections

Until ST-OST SP8 waves notes were created to provide fixes and small enhancements for Focused Insight Setup,

Starting with Wave 9.0, the delivery will be changed to 5 dedicated standard SAP Notes containing single correction notes.

Central Note for Focused Insights for SAP Solution Manager:

Enhanced security

With SP8, all remaining pieces of codes from Open Sources libs has been removed.

Configuration setup improvements

Focused Insight Setup provides 2 reports to update the different contents:

  • Update the list of Data Providers available in the OCC dashboard.

  • Update the configuration for the Tactical security scenario to the new configuration.

An additional check has been implemented for System modifications.

OCC Data Providers (DP_CRM) supports saved CRM UI VIEW

the new function from the DP_CRM allows to use the fully customizable view using CRM saved search view features.

It will benefit to the DISPLAY_TABLE renderer, by increasing the number of available columns/fields and data coming form CRM.

The selection is independent from the Saved Search, (Standard to specific).
