You're going to have to come to the Lesbians Who Tech Summit in San Francisco next month to find out!

Thanks to returning sponsorship from SAP’s Chief Learning Officer and Pride@SAP Executive Sponsor Jenny Dearborn with additional funding from Jennifer Prevoznik from our University Talent Team, SAP returns for the fifth time to sponsor the fifth-annual Lesbians Who Tech Summit, March 1-3 in San Francisco. We could not be more excited to continue to partcipate at this highly dynamic tech-focused conference.

Selected speaker line-up, Lesbians Who Tech Summit

This year Lesbians Who Tech is excited to announce the kinds of high-profile tech keynotes we've come to expect, starting with Lesbians Who Tech Founder Leanne Pittsford introducing Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg for the first time at the Summit. We'll also see return speakers Megan Smith (former CTO of the United States), Kara Swisher (of Recode and of formidable wit) along with new speakers Bozoma Saint John (Chief Brand Officer at Uber), and, for reasons as of yet even I'm confused about, indie-pop superstars Tegan & Sara who ROCK but will apparently be there for tech activist reasons rather than to sing to us about our girlfriends or to tell us Everything Is Awesome.

Why is SAP there?

At the Summit, SAP will get to not only spotlight some of our cool technical talent, but we also have an all-star recruiting team on-hand to help you find out why SAP is a best place to work for top tech talent of all kinds.

At this time, we’ve already confirmed that rachel.ho will be bringing some digital boardroom to you via VR, Casey Cheung will show you all the latest cool features of TripIt, and I may even bring something to show from SAP Cloud Platform, including perhaps some more IoT Wine for our Thursday night Tech Crawl.

In addition, there’s a whole posse of our talented recruiters led by SAP Concur's amazing Linda Lioe who are already getting fired up to meet you at the Summit – and likely give away some cool swag. Our great SAP Silicon Valley people will also be on hand to report and bring live video.

We will also be excited to announce one of our very own awesome colleagues will be taking a speaking slot, but you'll have to stay tuned to find out who and what that is!

And finally, let’s face it. The tech industry hasn’t received glowing marks for diversity in recent months (years… and years). We all play a part in the problem, and the solution, of helping the makers of tech look a lot more like the wildly diverse humans actually using this technology around the world.  We can better serve the world globally with technology when it is created by a wider cross-section of humans. The time is now and the place is right here.

If you agree, one way you can help, even if you're not a lesbian or queer-identified or a woman or a person of color or identify in any way different from the rest of the people on your team, is to SHOW UP at events like these and to keep your perspective on the world open.   BUT HURRY! This ticket will SELL OUT if it hasn't sold out already. Get yours as soon as you can, and if you’re there, be sure to let me know so we can meet up!

PS: Everything IS Awesome at #LWTSummit.  See you there!
