SAPUI5 Road Map - The New Generation

To help customers & partners navigating the complexities of SAP's plans for products, tools and technologies, the classic PDF road maps are being transformed by the SAP Road Map Explorer. With this interactive tool users can create and tailor their own road map, filtering innovations from SAP products, industries, business processes.

In SAP Road Map Explorer use the search bar and make sure you select the Product 'SAPUI5' or access the SAPUI5 Road Map directly.

 

This will lead to the Kanban board for the SAPUI5 Road Map with all delivered and planned innovations. Use the Time Horizon filter to adjust the quarters you would like to see.

 

To cover all capabilities of SAPUI5, the innovations are grouped into 4 categories:

• User Interface Controls, covering the actual controls, e.g. for implementing the latest SAP Fiori 3 design


• User Interface Core Framework, covering the SAPUI5 frameowork


• User Interface Flexibility with capabilities for developers, key users and end users to adapt an SAPUI5 app


• User Interface Open Source Development with topics like UI5 Web Components and UI5 Tooling
