About Celonis

SAP Startup Focus member Celonis was founded in 2011 as a result of a University research project. Since then they have become a leading vendor of process mining software. Their main objective is to analyze and reconstruct existing SAP processes in ERP and CRM systems to increase efficiency and compliance which results in cost and time savings.

The Celonis Solution

SAP HANA allows Celonis to access other SAP modules in real-time, extract and process the existing data to reproduce them in a real-time graph. Since the graphical realization works with live data, bottlenecks and inefficiencies can be found easily. Examples would be instant analyses of critical vendors, low value orders or purchase requisition rates. Another important aspect is the identification of fraud patterns in the purchase process. For the user, Celonis has made it easy and intuitive to perform the process mining without having SQL knowledge.
