Google and SAP partnered to allow customers to connect core SAP software designed for running all mission-critical processes in the cloud with the collaborative capabilities of Google Docs and Google Sheets to innovate how work gets done across the enterprise.
Google Workspace enables teams of all sizes to connect, create and collaborate – to drive innovation from any device and any location. Specifically, Google Docs and Google Sheets, integrated with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, will enable new business capabilities, use cases and opportunities for collaborative tasks. See details in this
Press Release.
What are the new capabilities?
SAP data from all important UI tables can be exported to Google Workspace which allows customers to connect core SAP software operations in the cloud or on-premise with Google Sheets. A ‘File Browser' dialog is available and offers the user a possibility to browse Google Drive and decide on the preferred location for the table export. In general, Google’s "My Drive", "Shared drives" and "Shared with me" are supported.
