Wow, The show is ending today, some of my teammates are already back home, exhausted, sleep deprived.  We, the back office, are overwhelmed by the number of pictures, emails, contacts, requests we already received… It will take us time to respond to all the requests for information, meetings, demonstrations… We are so looking forward to connecting with all our existing and potential customers, guests and partners!

During the show we presented our newest product enabling integration between SAP and Microsoft, SAP NetWeaver Gateway Accelerator for Microsoft, which caused lots of interest.  You can learn more about it here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-47563.  When on the page please follow a link to the blog introducing the product and links to self-pace learning - great videos walking you through the product and teaching you to use it.

But back to Thursday, probably the busiest day of the show, when our booth was busy all day:

A lot of architecting, white boarding, co-innovating and design thinking taking place:

By the most modest estimates we had way over 100 visitors who wanted a follow up, at the booth during the show!

Duet Enterprise round table that I announced a couple weeks ago on SCN, took place in the morning.  Just a reminder of the topic for this by invitation only event:

Dr Pepper Snapple Group is a leading producer of flavored beverages in North America and the Caribbean. Their success is fueled by more than 50 brands that are synonymous with refreshment, fun and flavor. The company's integrated business model enables the company to manage the entire value chain from innovation to the store shelf. Over the past 3-5 years Dr Pepper Snapple Group has invested heavily in their SAP transactional business systems. In order to deliver a solution that has a
familiar Microsoft style user interface Dr Pepper Snapple Group implemented a new mobile purchase requisition approval process utilizing Duet Enterprise.
Learn how Dr Pepper Snapple Group has been able to increase adoption, speed in the process, increase accuracy of purchase orders, and increase productivity.
This session is limited to 8-12 customers to allow for an interactive discussion and help you to better understand the challenges faced, selection process, implementation, lessons learned, and key successes.

The room was full, completely full, and interest was great! A picture from this highly interactive meeting showing co-presenters Vivek Malhotra from Microsoft and Himanshu Pande from SAP together:

The third Gateway roadmap session was as big of a success as the previous ones as you can see – standing room only, and lots of discussions took place after the session. (picture below)

Expert session on top Gateway use cases attracted lots of attendees. Do you want to see these cases too? (Let us know, we can share them on our social media channels and on our SCN channels).

But what is even better, we had a few interviews recorded during the show: American Airlines (you can view the recording: http://events.sap.com/teched/en/session/8632) and Dr.Pepper shared their testimonies about SAP NetWeaver Gateway and Duet Enterpise respectively in official studio interviews.
Partners CapGemini, RedHat, Cordis, customer University of Mississippi and an analyst Bill Newman recorded informal show floor interviews.  Our colleagues got interviewed by the social media team, and even Bloomberg News correspondents stopped by our booth for a use case discussion!

The team worked incredibly hard, but they found time for a joke and a smile, and they all made it to this terrific concert:

Oh, I wish I were there, but there is always the next year to look forward to!

Thank you my dear colleagues for working and playing hard in Las Vegas!  And as a parting note, for memories and fun, look through the online album on the Facebook page
