I am very pleased to inform you that SAP Education has just recently launched a new certification program for SAP HANA. The certification “SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP HANA” verifies the knowledge in the area of SAP HANA for the profile of a SAP HANA support consultant. This new certification provides successful examinees with a globally recognized mark of excellence by validating their experience with SAP HANA. The exam validates the examinee´s professional excellence in such relevant areas as: troubleshooting user authorizations, DB administration and operations, monitoring and tracing, performance analysis (incl. system reports), backup and recovery, and patching and updating the SAP HANA. Details on the scope of the exam are provided within the exam guide, where you will also find sample items that indicate what type of questions and what level of difficulty you should expect in the exam.
The SAP HANA Support Certification builds a fundamental pillar in the recently announced HANA VAR-d Support Authorization program. Essentially, the exam is a pre-requisite for VARs to become authorized to deliver support for SAP HANA. This curriculum has been co-created with the SAP Global Ecosystem & Channels and is supported through SAP Active Global Support. Starting last week the certification is available for delivery through SAP Education and via our external certification partner Pearson VUE. In line with the existing support certification the SAP HANA Support Certification is priced at a reduced rate of 180€ for the exam. To accommodate the specific enablement needs of our VAR partners we have defined a certification package that combines the exam with the recommended education e-learning courses. The package is globally available at a discounted rate of 700€.
