June 9, 2021 update
We have reached our capacity for this project and are not accepting any more people as testers. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help us. We appreciate your commitment to the SAP Community.
---------------------------------------------------------
Developer documentation often sparks passionate discussions – I can recall participating in many heated conversations at SAP TechEd in SAP Mentor receptions, the Developer Garage, or other more casual settings (over a beverage). For those of you who feel that everything is perfect with SAP Fiori elements documentation, you can stop reading. For everyone else, we have an opportunity for you to provide your feedback.
We’re running a usability testing study on our SAP Fiori elements documentation. Therefore, the test participants will be working with a real-life developer scenario that is based on the SAP Cloud Application Programming model (CAP), while working with SAP Fiori tools as part of the SAP Business Application Studio.
The tasks will include making enhancements to an existing SAP Fiori elements application based on the corresponding documentation. The goal is to identify usability issues and information gaps. Your contributions will make life better for the entire community of SAP Fiori developers.
Earlier feedback on SAP Fiori elements usability resulted in us creating SAP Fiori tools to make app development easier. This study is focused on testing our documentation while working with the latest technology.
We are looking for participants who have:
- 6+ months of professional development experience creating SAP Fiori apps
- familiarity with SAP Fiori elements annotations
- 60 minutes to spend with us (no preparation or additional time investment is required)
