By now most of us should be familiar with SAPs strategy for the Intelligent Sustainable Enterprise based on our seamlessly integrated and automated cloud portfolio across UX, data and processes – but many of us may yet have to experience how to deliver and implement their first Intelligent Enterprise, and the purpose of this blog is to equip you with some foundational knowledge in this area, primarily targeting Technical Architects but very relevant for a much wider range of roles.
SAP Portfolio
First off all, the foundation for the Intelligent Enterprise is SAP Business Technology Platform, and very centrally those services that relate to the defined suite qualities, which are to key achieve a consistent suite of enterprise applications across LoBs and function to realize the Intelligent Enterprise potential.
Suite qualities overview
As a Technical Architect you play a crucial role in ensuring that each suite quality is considered when delivering on the Intelligent Enterprise promise, and any technical resources involved in the project will turn to you to help ensure that best practices are leveraged when managing topics like integrations between different components, enabling single sign-on across the solution landscape, protecting data integrity, optimizing and automating workflows and provide a consistent data visualization across the Enterprise.
Below we look at each of these suite qualities and which services facilitate their enablement and propose the enablement that we believe will give you the right high-level insight into each of these services.
