Welcome back to our new “plug and gain 101: What is…?” blog series! After introducing the Best-Run Score last time, we now continue with the Transaction Score and the Completion Score.
The Transaction Score is part of the Value Accelerator for SAP Process Landscape analysis (plug and gain approach). It provides a clear picture of the percentage of cases per process flow variant that are performed via standard transaction codes. By analyzing the Transaction Score, you can identify the extent to which standard transaction codes are utilized in different process steps. It helps you to identify any bottlenecks or inefficiencies. You can determine which codes are being used frequently and which ones are causing delays or errors. This analysis enables you to optimize the usage of transaction codes, ensuring smoother and faster completion of tasks.
You can find an overview of the Transaction Scores of your modular processes on Level 2 of the Process House in the SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub, on the Transaction Usage tab:
By clicking on the modular process, you can jump to an additional widget that provides insights into the transaction code usage per process step, categorized into standard and custom transaction codes. The corresponding Widget ID is created automatically, so you can use the same widget in your own investigations, your journey model, or your process model.
The Completion Score and the Throughput Volume are calculated for every single process flow variant of your processes, allowing you to drill down and identify optimization opportunities. You can access detailed metrics in the investigation 99. Process Quantity Structure. Keep in mind that the data for the different process flow variants is not aggregated.
By leveraging Transaction Score and Completion Score, you gain valuable insights into your process flows. You can identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and reduce complexity. By focusing on process efficiency and monitoring throughput volume, you can optimize resource allocation and increase overall productivity. These metrics provide a foundation for continuous improvement, ensuring your organization is agile, efficient, and successful in achieving its goals.
