Lectures on SAP S/4HANA and Hackathon on SAP HANA Cloud Platform :: MSRIT, Bangalore, November 2-5, 2016

We had a great time at a recent engagement at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore on November 5, 2016. MSrIT is has been a member of the SAP University Alliances program India for over 4 years and the relationship only grows stronger.

With the support and enthusiasm of colleagues from SAP Labs we organized 3 lectures covering a wide range of topics such as SAP ERP, In-memory computing leading up to SAP S/4HANA as well as a mini hackathon on SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

These lectures were organized for 120 students of Computer Science Engineering over a period of 4 days from November 2-5, 2016. The last day was hands on for students and we tried to evaluate the students via a mini Hackathon on SAP HANA Cloud Platform where the students first got an overview via demos and tutorials while understanding concepts such as SAPUI5 and OData.

We were delighted to know how easily the students were able to complete the tutorials on SAP HANA Cloud Platform and then extend their applications to create a greater story.

This engagement not only helped us expose students to the world of SAP but also teach them quick skill on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, SAPUI5 as well as SAP Fiori. No just that, we were able to help the college use our evaluations to give credits to the students as well.
