Regulatory information is added within the Manage Substance Compliance app. This new section has information on compliance requirement versions and listed substance group assignments belonging to the active compliance requirement version. Additionally, you can filter for listed substances within the Conditions section with both the listed substance name and ID. This has been updated for a more complete picture of the compliance impact of substances and to stay ahead of legal obligations.

There are 3 types of group assignments:

  • Delivered: Group assignment delivered by SAP.
  • Included: Group assignment added by the user.
  • Excluded: Group assignment delivered by SAP but excluded by the user.

If you choose to remove a group assignment one of three things happen:

  • A group assignment with status Included by the user will be completely removed from the table.
  • A group assignment that is delivered by SAP will be changed to Excluded, in the table.
  • A group assignment that is already Excluded, reverts to status Delivered.

Additionally, you can now have regulatory graphics from our regulatory content service for consumption in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This automates the updates for graphics in case of regulatory changes and makes the update process independent of the software release cycle. If you need more information about the content service, also for setting up the content service, go here.
