Labs IT China Team has supported SAP Select successfully in Beijing Shangri-La China World Summit Wing. The event is targeting at top accounts and top opportunities to communicate SAP “Run simple.” strategy, deepen relationship, shares best practices through customers, and accelerate pipeline/deal closing. 1340 unique external attendees (vs. target 750), and 143 VIP customers are well-treated. The IT Infrastructure designing and planning for SAP Select was started from March of 2014 by Jingshan Zhang who was the project leader from Labs IT China team, with 10 IT colleagues from various IT teams to delivery successful IT support to this event.

The completed IT Infrastructure setup was done within 4 days. The IT team has deployed over 110 network drops with 2,400 meters Cat 5E copper cable.
Meanwhile SAP Greater China town hall meeting with Rob Enslin were held in Beijing Ritz-Carlton hotel in one day before the SAP Select event at August 26th, our event IT team also provided the technical support for the Live stream via SAP-TV. Totally we have 280 users participate onsite and 385 users from 3 regions took the live broadcast of this town hall meeting.
