On Monday February 6
th we held a
SAP CodeJam for
HANA Express Edition (HXE) at the University of Illinois Chicago. We had a great day with students and faculty of the university. This was SAP’s first HXE CodeJam and our goal was to guide each participant in installing and using HXE on their personal computers. This served as an introduction to developing apps on this server edition and will also provide inspiration to learn more about HANA and its capabilities. All of our participants were new to using HANA. Led by SAP’s
Craig Cmehil and Lucia Subatin, the CodeJam provided access to useful exercises and tools for building applications on HXE.
