How to participate?

Do you have an idea about how to better utilize your data already? Send us a brief description about it in our submission form.

Do you see an idea that interests you? You can share it in your circles, discuss your thoughts in the discussion board, or submit a proposal.

I submitted my idea in Idea Incubator. Now looking to blog a post on it and have few questions to ask.

1. Hope SAP HANA Developer Center is the space where one has to blog about his/her idea.

2. Subject of blog?

SAP HANA Idea Incubator - followed by idea name.

3. In the blog content, apart from describing the idea, is idea number to be specified?

Looking for your suggestions.

I looked into it but it looks like normally a customer would generate an idea of something they need and then it can result into a consulting gig done by someone for this customer.

Is the intention also that community members at large generate random ideas?

There are two ways that you can contribute -- Idea/Proposal

Idea starts with "do you have data?"

Proposal starts with SAP Idea Incubator homepage, start comment on the ideas/other people's proposal, and submit your own proposal when there is an open idea.

You are correct. The intention is to have customer generate an idea with data for innovators to work on solutions. But anyone with a data description could still ask for a proposal.

I am writing the next blog explaining this in detail. SAP Idea Incubator has just taking off and our team is looking into every angel to make this run.

I followed the instructions and posted a blog entry in the SAP HANA Developer Center and titled it as instructed.

The specified item was not found.

Apparently the post was flagged as inappropriate.  Whoever flagged it indicated that it should have been a non-question discussion rather than a blog post.  The moderators agreed and removed the blog post.

Not sure how we're supposed to complete the mission if the moderators are going to remove the items that we're posting attempting to complete it.
