
SAP HANA Smart Data Access (SDA) allows the SAP HANA Studio user to define a virtual table pointing to a table located in a remote data system like Hadoop, Sybase IQ, Teradata, to name a few. Thanks to SDA, with a single HANA ODBC connection, the Data Manager user in SAP Predictive Analytics 3.0 can manipulate tables coming from multiple databases.
In order to predict customer churn a business analyst can define variables in Data Manager using customer information stored in the SAP HANA system as well as call center detailed historical information stored, for example, in Hadoop.
