On June 22nd, 2021 we had an SAP Community Call where SAP Sr. Director Silvio Arcangeli provided insights on why SAP Data Intelligence is the solution for unified data orchestration, integration and cataloging across any hybrid landscape spanning cloud, on-premise as well as BYOL (Bring Your Own License).

Silvio explained why Data Management is the key for Business Process improvement and the current challenges of Data Management => modern Data Management needs Data Orchestration, beyond data integration.
SAP Data Intelligence helps customers move from Data Integration to Data Orchestration and Silvio took the opportunity to show the strategic vision of SAP Data Intelligence: Unification of Capabilities.
Then, Silvio explained in more detail the Core Capabilities of SAP Data Intelligence: Data Integration, Data Processing and Data Catalog.
After that, it was time to show SAP Data Intelligence key value-add scenarios for SAP customers dealing with SAP Integration, Data Management for SAP BTP and last, but for sure not least, Hybrid Data Management: how SAP Data Intelligence can help customers transition to Cloud Data Management at their own pace, making sure to reuse and leverage existing On-Premise SAP EIM tools. Silvio also detailed three examples of hybrid scenarios.
Silvio wrapped up the call with a live demo showing important capabilities and the main areas of SAP Data Intelligence.
During the whole session and live demo, traffic was high in the parallel Q&A window where the participants could ask related questions. The lines were also open for a live exchange of questions and answers. Most were directly answered by the SAP product experts as you can hear in the recording. The high number of incoming questions showed us that there is a big interest in the topic.
