In this session I will present a part of the new content of the UX100 (SAP Fiori – Foundation) I already described in my blog post under Content Management.
The first part of my session is an introduction to rapid activation for SAP Fiori explaining the concept in general and showing the task lists in an SAP S/4HANA system. I will activate SAP Fiori content by using the task list SAP_FIORI_FCM_CONTENT_ACTIVATION based on a business role and test it in the SAP Fiori launchpad. After that I will have a look in the task list monitoring.
The second part provides an overview about foundation role templates for SAP Fiori and how they are included in rapid activation. I will create a new user in the SAP S/4HANA system and enroll him to the SAP Fiori launchpad. After checking and explaining some error sources, I will assign a generated foundation role of the task list SAP_FIORI_FOUNDATION_S4 to the user. This will provide all needed authorizations to work with the SAP Fiori launchpad.
