Creating a URL shortcut to access the Web UI Application is useful. It allows you to access the ITSM and/or ChaRM application from an URL Alias. The following steps will guide you through the process of creating the URL alias:
Call transaction SICF.
Click on button External Aliases.
Create a new Alias.
In this example I created /charm alias. Select the target element path: /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_start.
Save the changes. Now you can access the WebUI using the traditional URL and the short URL:
Traditional URL: http://<server>:<port>/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_start/default.htm
Short URL: http://<server>:<port>/charm
Call transaction SICF.
Click on button External Aliases.
