ABAP Test Cockpit in the Cloud – How to schedule ATC runs

It is now possible to schedule mass ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) runs on SAP BTP via Application Jobs using a predefined custom code analysis application job template. With scheduling ATC runs can be executed once or periodically.

The scheduling of ATC runs on SAP BTP is based on the projects of the Custom Code Migration app and can be done using the SAP Fiori app Schedule Custom Code Analysis. To use the Schedule Custom Code Analysis app you need access to the Custom Code Migration app and the Project Manager – IT business role.

In the Schedule Custom Code Analysis app just click on the Create button in the Jobs overview. The Job Template for “Custom Code Analysis” will be filled out automatically and you can adjust the Job Name:

At the Step 2 plan the start time and recurrency (use Define Recurrence Pattern button if needed):

At the Step 3 select your custom code analysis project using the button  and click on the Schedule button:

In the Jobs overview you can take a look at the status of your job (add Status, Duration and End columns using the Settings of the table):

The ATC result is available in the Custom Code Migration app in the respective custom code analysis project:
