To celebrate 50 years of shaping tomorrow together, SAP TechEd will feature the 50 Years NFT Drop. The drop offers SAP TechEd participants the opportunity to collect some of SAP's most iconic moments reimagined as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

To participate, you'll need to register for SAP TechEd and visit the NFT Drop website to get your 50 Years NFT Drop collector's album.

What's in the 50 Years NFT Drop?

The drop features 15 unique NFTs celebrating the company's inception and key innovations that have helped businesses run better.

Founded in 1972, SAP has grown from a five-person venture to a multinational enterprise with more than 105,000 employees worldwide. Over the last 50 years, SAP has become a market leader in enterprise application software. It has redefined ERP and created networks of intelligent enterprises. These NFTs provide participants of SAP TechEd with the opportunity to collect a part of this heritage.

What are NFTs?

NFTs are unique digital assets on a digital ledger called the blockchain and certify a type of ownership. NFTs in the 50 Years NFT Drop use Polygon – an energy-efficient Proof-of-Stake (PoS) platform – and can't be sold.

SAP TechEd participants will be able to collect a total of 15 unique NFTs throughout the event by finding NFT codes. Claimed NFTs are automatically added to your collector's album.

As a bonus, participants who collect all 15 will get an additional special token. To help people get all 15 NFTs, participants can also swap duplicates for new NFTs.

To register, visit the 50 Years NFT Drop website.

For some personal insights from Jürgen Müller, chief technology officer and member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, and Marcus Krug, head of SAP Innovation Center Potsdam, be sure to read the SAP News Feature.

Finally, if you still need an NFT for your album, you can get one now with this code: "KIWG."
