Open Connectors: 

Open connectors come loaded with lots of useful features, it is a core component of SAP Integration Suite that provides different connectors which help in simplifying the processes, and many more prebuilt features. By which it simplifies the connectivity and provides a seamless integration between the NON-SAP cloud applications. 

In this Blog, one can learn how the Integration with openconnectors can be done, Blog depicts the flow of Connecting the Openconnectors with Google Drive, where different operations can be done like Upload,Retrive & Delete. 

 

Step-1: 

Discover the connectors in Extended Non-SAP Connectivity.

Step-2 :

Choose the Google Drive Connectors which needs to be integrated.

Step-3:

After Choosing the Open connector, create an Instance as below,

Now, Authenticate the Good Drive open connector and give the required fields.

Give the desirable Name.

In Connector Instance Tag – Select the Instance created in the above step.

Can enable the Monitor Events if requires and Create the Instance.

Step-4:

After the instance is created go to the instance and API Docs as below.

Step-5:

After Choosing the operation click on Tryout And then fill the path of Documents (PDF) and execute.

Step-6:

After the above step we will get the status of execution as below with the credentials and the URLs. We can use it for integrating the CPI with Open connectors

Step-7:

 Now to Connect Open connector with CPI, take the User, Organization and Element details and Access to CPI Account and follow the below path 

CPI →   Monitor →  Integrations →  Manage Security →  security material →  create and give the above credentials.

 Step-8:

Once the security credentials are created, the next step is to create the IFLOW.

Create the IFLOW as below. Where the receiver is connected by the Open connector adapter. 

Step-9:

For the OpenConnectors, give the Parameters that are obtained in the above steps, Such as: 

API URL  

Credential Names & Resource


Request & Response Format  

Query Parameters

Once the IFLOW is created, can use the POSTMAN to send the request and receive responses thus the PDF operations can be successfully done. 


This short blog can helps with basic understanding on How Integration of SAP CPI OpenConnector for PDF different File Operations with Google Drive can be done.
